Licence Controller Qualification (Bar Manager Training)
We are pleased to be able to organise Licence Controller Qualification training for your up-and-coming Managers!
- All licenced premises must have a Duty Manager on duty at all times that liquor is being sold and The Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) is the pre-requisite training that must be completed before you can apply for a General Managers Certificate.
- LCQ training includes NZQA Units 4646 Demonstrate Knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and it's implications for licensed premises and 16705 Demonstrate Knowledge of Host Responsibility requirements as a duty manager of licensed premises.
- The LCQ Course is run over one day, however there is also online modules and assessment that must be successfully completed in order to gain certification.
- We organise regular monthly public courses in the Wellington area and from time to time offer courses in other parts of the North Island.
We are also able to organise private courses for groups either at one of our venues or at your chosen venue.
