Our "one stop training shop" enables you to get a range of short courses all in one place .
We offer numerous industry-recognised courses and qualifications across a variety of different industries that enable you to train FASTER and SMARTER!
All of our courses are delivered by qualified, experienced Trainers who are passionate about their training topic.
For courses that offer NZQA Unit Standards, we work in conjunction with accredited organisations and training providers to give you the highest quality training and service.
We offer competitive prices on all of our training courses. Prices are "all inclusive" with no hidden costs. We provide tea and coffee at all courses, and for all "full day" courses we also provide a light lunch.
We are happy to offer discounts for group bookings and repeat business.
PAYING FOR YOUR TRAINING
All course fees need to be paid before you attend a course unless we have arranged to send an invoice to your employer.
If you are in receipt of a benefit from Work and Income, they may be able to assist with your course fees.

SECURITY (CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL MANDATORY TRAINING)
Our day course is delivered by Pop Training, a registered PTE and one of the best security trainers in the business. This short course is the mandatory training for security officers in New Zealand and covers a variety of topics to help keep security staff safe while they are on the job.
The standards must be completed by all those that wish to work in the security industry and hold the Crowd Controller (CC), Personal Guard (PSG) and Property Guard (PRG) endorsements on the COA.
The course includes written assessments and practical activities in order to achieve the following NZQA Unit Standards;
27360 Demonstrate knowledge of managing conflict situations in a security context
27361 Manage conflict situations in a security context
27364 Demonstrate knowledge of the security industry in the pre-employment context
This course is delivered at an easy pace to ensure that learners gain a good understanding of the course material, and there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Our Trainer is there to assist with any learning issues and will do their absolute best to support every learner in the room.
Certificate of Approval Applications
Please note that this training course is separate from your actual COA Application. To gain a full COA, you must have completed the Mandatory Training, then you can apply to the Ministry of Justice for your warrant card. We are happy to help with this process, however this will incur an additional fee.
During the application process MOJ will complete a background check. If you have any previous criminal convictions or have been hospitalised for mental illness, this could prevent you from being granted a COA.
To apply for a COA you need to be at least 18 years of age.

LICENCE CONTROLLER QUALIFICATION
All licenced premises must have a Duty Manager on duty at all times that liquor is being sold and The Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) is the pre-requisite training that must be completed before you can apply for a General Managers Certificate.
LCQ training includes the following NZQA Units;
4646 Demonstrate Knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and it's implications for licensed premises and
16705 Demonstrate Knowledge of Host Responsibility requirements as a duty manager of licensed premises.
Our LCQ Course is run over one day and is delivered by Pop Training, a registered PTE. We provide you with your course material when you attend your training.
To achieve your LCQ you will need to complete 2 written assessments in a supervised environment in order to prove your knowledge and understanding.
We offer regular public courses in various parts of the country and can also deliver private courses for groups at your chosen venue.

FIRST AID
We have a variety of delivery options and courses available in First Aid whether you need basic training or something more comprehensive. Choose from either classroom-based training or online options, with or without NZQA Unit Standards, it's totally up to you!

FORKLIFT TRAINING
OSH Forklift Certificate
In order to operate a forklift within a confined workplace, you require an OSH Certificate which proves that you have completed the required level of training and assessment.
This one day course covers both theory (classroom) and practical driving components and is delivered by experienced and qualified instructors. You do not require a drivers licence to complete the OSH course, however a Full Class 1 licence is required if you wish to complete the F Endorsement to operate a Forklift in a public area.

HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING

BASIC FOOD SAFETY
This short course covers all of the key topics required to maintain food safety in the workplace. This course is available as a classroom-based workshop or as an online training module. Key topics of this course include:
Food Control Plans, Food Hazards, Food Safety Standards, Preventing Food Contamination, Handwashing Technique, Temperature Control, Safe Food Storage and Pest Control.
